Self-Employed Mortgages
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage
Who is classed as Self-Employed?
The term Self-employed applies many types of people. You may be a Sole Trader, Limited Company Director or in a Partnership and it’s not always as straight forward when it comes to proving your income.
Here at Herts & Essex Mortgage Solutions we are very understanding of this type of client and have helped secure mortgages for many people who have been turned down elsewhere. Most lenders require at least 2 years trading accounts, however there are exceptions to this and it doesn’t necessarily mean you pay a higher interest rate.
